Most often when people ask for my help we settle on terms that fall under one of my buckets of expertise. My calling cards, if you will. Each one is rich with nuance that I’m happy to explore with you (just ask). Hot topics include:
Worldbuilding: I practice worldbuilding as an act of radical kindness.
Devil’s Advocate: Conflict is uncomfortable but inevitable. A natural resource for healthy collaborations. Making space for a “sacred skeptic” can be a critical practice to identifying and mitigate risks in your work.
Non-linear Thinking: Disrupt familiar diminishing patterns so that new opportunities can arise.
Community Building: Informed by resilience strategy and practices in participatory and co-creative design, I help people elevate their deepest human aspirations, connecting actions and desires to action and impact.
Queer Design: A rejection of certainty, a honed curiosity, an openness to question and challenge what we believe is fixed in ourselves, our organizations, and society at large—not simply on the practical level but at its very core.
Phasing: In fantasy genres, phasing is often the ability to become intangible and pass easily across or through what is an impassable boundary for others. I find comfort in honoring and navigating cultural and intellectual barriers others might find too resistant.
Research: Trained in scientific research, I bring evidence-based and narrative-driven approaches which privilege defining, testing, and implementing the steps necessary to educate, align, and mobilize key collaborators, systems, ideas, and practices.
